Refreshing a VDB moves it to a different snapshot or bookmark while preserving the existing state as an alternate timeline.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Data > Data Management > VDBs, then select View for the target VDB.
  2. Select Refresh or Actions > Refresh.
  3. Select the refresh source and refresh point.
  4. Review the summary and select Submit.
