Delphix Data Control Tower (DCT) supports SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) connector, enabling users to manage SAP ASE ingestion, provisioning, and lifecycle operations through a unified DCT interface backed by the Delphix Continuous Data Engine.
With this capability, DCT orchestrates SAP ASE data operations supported by the Continuous Data Engine, including:

Discovery of SAP ASE source and target environments.

SAP ASE dSource ingestion using Delphix-supported backup and log workflows.

Snapshot lifecycle and retention policy management.

SAP ASE virtual database (VDB) provisioning.

Full SAP ASE VDB lifecycle operations (start, stop, refresh, migrate, and delete).
Prerequisites
DCT Requirements
Before using SAP ASE datasets in DCT, ensure that:

A DCT 2026.3.0 instance is running.

At least one Continuous Data Engine is connected to DCT.
Environment Requirements

SAP ASE source and target hosts are configured in DCT.

Valid OS users exist on all SAP ASE hosts with:

SSH access

Permissions to deploy the Delphix toolkit

Supported SAP ASE versions are installed on source and target hosts.
