During staging push verification, the database is checked to ensure that the datafiles are actually present on the correct filesystem.

The following checks are performed:

  • Empty or NONAME filename check: If the datafile source filename is null, empty, or equals "NONAME".

  • ASM storage check: If the datafile source filename starts with "+", indicating ASM (Automatic Storage Management) storage.

Error messages

If these checks fail, you will see the following error:

  • Failed to take a snapshot of staging database "{0}" as the datafile "{1}" is either not available at the mounted Delphix filesystem or was moved from there.

Action: Restore the datafile to the mounted Delphix filesystem and try the operation again.
