Post provision/migration ownership rules
Once an empty vFile VDB is provisioned, the ownership of the VDB files and folders is set to the primary environment user. The following scenarios could result in a conflict of the ownership of files and folders under the vFile VDB folder:
-
If any files and folders that were created with user permissions other than primary environment user, the ownership of those files and folders will be changed to the primary environment user after the VDB is disabled and enabled again.
-
If VDB has been migrated to a new host with a different primary environment user, then the ownership of the VDB files and folders will be changed to the new primary environment user.
