Database user permissions

If your Database User does not have proper permissions, you might see one of the following errors: 

pg_dump: error: query failed: ERROR:  permission denied for table <TABLE_NAME> 

To resolve these issues, create or update your PostgreSQL role with the proper permission as indicated in the Requirements for database users page.
