Refreshing a VDB will re-provision it from the dSource. As with the normal provisioning process, you can choose to refresh the VDB from a snapshot or a specific point in time.
To refresh a VDB in DCT, follow these steps:

Login to the DCT instance.

Navigate to Data > VDBs, and click View on a VDB and click Refresh.

On the Select Refresh Source page, select any of the following options:

Parent: Set the data state to the any snapshot point from the parent.

Self: Set the data state to any snapshot point of the VDB.

Relative: Set the data state to any available snapshot from any relative VDB.

Bookmark: Set the data state to any compatible bookmark.

On the Refresh Point page, select the snapshot point and click Next.

Review the refresh summary and click Submit.

Select the Undo Refresh under the Actions menu to revoke last refresh action.
