The virtual database (VDB) is a Delphix virtualized copy of your source database that runs on your Target Environment. A VDB is provisioned from a dSource or VDB snapshot.

Provision/refresh rules

Provision/refresh has to be for each dataset:

Register the EBS DBTechstack before database provisioning in DCT

Provision Oracle EBS VDBs in DCT

If any dataset's provision/refresh workflow has failed, the next dataset provision/refresh should not be started until the Tier beneath that dataset is UP and RUNNING. In simple words, if database provision/refresh has failed then the user cannot trigger AppsTier provision/refresh workflow from DCT UI.
