To provision an SAP ASE virtual database:

Log in to the DCT instance.

Navigate to Data > VDBs and click Provision VDB.

On the Source page, select the SAP ASE dSource and click Next.

On the Provision Point page, select a provision point from the snapshot timeline.

On the Target Environment page, choose the target SAP ASE environment and repository and click Next.

(Optional) On the Target Configuration page, modify target configuration settings and click Next.

On the Policies page, accept default policy settings or assign snapshot and retention policies and click Next.

(Optional) On the Masking page, configure masking or hook operations and click Next.

On the Hooks page, accept the default hook operations or modify them if needed and click Next.

Review the VDB summary details and click Submit.
An SAP ASE VDB is provisioned and ready for use.
