Cassandra dSource ingestion using Staging Push in Data Control Tower

Staging Push allows you to manage the Cassandra staging database and backup workflow manually. Instead of Delphix pulling backup files, Data Control Tower (DCT) mounts storage on the staging host and you create the tenant database yourself.

Use Staging Push when your organization requires direct control over staging database creation or backup processes.

How Staging Push differs from Backup Recovery

• Delphix mounts storage but does not initialize the tenant database.
• You manually create the tenant database on the staging host.
• The dSource remains inactive until tenant creation is complete.
