Use this task to verify that DCT Compliance can successfully connect to the configured data source.

Testing a connector validates the connection configuration and ensures that the associated Job Orchestrator and compliance nodes can access the data source. During the test, DCT Compliance uses both the configuration details provided for the connector and any properties defined in the uploaded property file to validate the connection.

Steps

You can test a connector during creation or after the connector has been created.

Test during connector creation

  1. In the Configuration step of the connector creation wizard, click Test Connection.

  2. Wait for the test operation to complete.
