General information

DCT Core

DCT Core is available to any Delphix customer with an active Delphix entitlement. To compare DCT Core with the Self Service and Enterprise tiers, see Licensing.

There is no limit on the number of engines you can connect, in any tier.

Release cadence

DCT releases about every two months.

Version numbers

DCT versions use a three-part YYYY.R.M format and follow semantic versioning.

  • YYYY: Year of the release.

  • R: Release number within the year. New features are introduced only in these releases.

  • M: Minor release number. Minor releases contain bug fixes only. They don't change how features work, except to correct unintended behavior.

For example, 2026.5.2 is the second minor release of the fifth release of 2026. Continuous Data and Continuous Compliance engines use a different, four-part YYYY.R.M.P format.
