Use this topic to understand the actions available for managing a job in Synthetic Data.
You manage a job from the job details page, where you can review job status and configuration, inspect connector mappings and data volume settings, and run job-level actions (for example, executing the job on demand to generate synthetic data).
Use the following topics to manage a job:
-
View job details — Review the job's configuration, status, target connectors, and tags from the job details page.
-
Edit a job — Update job settings such as the name, description, tags, dataset, connector mappings, and data volume.
-
Delete a job — Permanently remove the job from Synthetic Data.
When to run a job
Run a job using Run Now when you want to generate synthetic data on demand. This is useful after editing a job's configuration, after schema changes have been discovered and datasets have been updated, or when you need to repopulate a target database with a fresh set of synthetic data.

Before creating a job, ensure a dataset is available and that reference and target connectors are configured in the associated application. See Create a dataset and Manage application connectors.
