Delphix Self-Service removes data access bottlenecks for Continuous Data Engines by letting development teams provision and manage virtual data on demand, without waiting on IT for every request. Administrators and DBAs still control infrastructure decisions and resource allocation for VDBs and vFiles, but they can assign those resources to individual users through Self-Service. Users can then manage what data their containers present while the underlying physical details remain hidden, enabling faster delivery of the right data with centralized oversight and governance. Please note, Self-Service reached end-of-life in September of 2025.
