Installing JDBC drivers for Synthetic Data introduces additional software into the DCT environment. This software has access to networking capabilities and database credentials as part of normal system operation. To minimize security risks, acquire JDBC driver files only from trusted and verified sources, and ensure they are updated when security vulnerabilities are identified. By default, the ability to install JDBC drivers is restricted to the DCT bootstrap administrator.
