Use this topic to understand the actions available for managing a generator in Synthetic Data.

You manage a generator from the generator details page, where you can review its configuration and classification rules, inspect the framework it is built on, and perform generator-level actions such as updating its definition or removing it from Synthetic Data.

Use the following topics to manage a generator:

  • Edit a Generator — Update generator details such as the name, description, locale, industry, configuration, and classification settings.

  • Delete a Generator — Permanently remove the generator from Synthetic Data. Deleted generators can no longer be applied to datasets or jobs.

Next steps

  • If you have not created a generator yet, see Create a Generator.

  • After a generator is created, it can be applied to columns during job setup. For an overview of the available generator types, see Generator Frameworks.
