You can register a new Compliance Engine and associate it directly with a Hyperscale orchestrator at creation time.
When to use this task
Use this task when provisioning new Compliance Engines specifically for Hyperscale execution. Providing the Hyperscale orchestrator identifier during engine registration associates the engine with the Hyperscale instance immediately, without a separate move step.
Before you begin
Verify the following conditions:

The Hyperscale instance exists in DCT.

The Hyperscale instance is reachable (network connectivity is confirmed).
Steps

Navigate to Compliance > Delphix Infrastructure > Hyperscale Orchestrators and click View on the target orchestrator.

Select the Engines tab and click the Actions dropdown.

Select Register Engine and complete the engine registration form, providing the engine hostname, credentials, and the associated job orchestrator.
DCT registers the engine with the Hyperscale instance and stores both the Hyperscale instance identifier and the Hyperscale engine identifier on the Compliance Engine record.
