Edit a Compliance job

Use this task to update the configuration or tags for a DCT-managed job.

The Non-conformant data handling setting is available for masking jobs when the connected Continuous Compliance engine is version 2026.2.0.0 or later.

Steps

1. In the left navigation pane, click Compliance Jobs.

2. Click View next to the job you want to edit.

3. In the Overview page:

   1. Click Edit in the Configuration section to update job settings, or

   2. Click Edit in the Tags section to modify tags

4. Update the required fields.

   • For a masking job, update Non-conformant data handling to control how the job responds when an algorithm encounters a value that does not match the expected format. The available options are Use global setting, Fail on encounter, Don't mask value, and Set value to null.

   On database masking jobs, selecting Set value to null for a column with a NOT NULL constraint can leave the non-conformant value unmasked without an error, execution event, or warning. Verify that target columns do not have NOT NULL constraints before selecting this option.

5. Click Save.

   Only DCT-managed jobs can be edited. Enterprise-visible jobs do not support edit operations.
