Edit a data class

Use this task to update the details, example, field type, algorithm assignments, or tags for an existing Data Class.

Steps

1. In the left navigation pane, click Compliance > Data Classes.

2. In the list, click View next to the Data Class you want to update. The Data Class details page opens.

3. To make changes, do one of the following:

   1. Click Actions > Edit, or

   2. Click Edit in the Details, or Tags section.

4. Update the fields as required.

   The Make Default Tokenization action is disabled for algorithms that do not support tokenization.

5. Click Save.
