On new engine installations of 2026.5.0.0 and later, the Admin UI opens directly to the Performance Dashboard, and the Manage, Resources, and System menus are unavailable. Engines upgraded from an earlier version keep full Admin UI access. This restriction cannot be changed by customers; contact Delphix Support if you need it lifted temporarily.

This section details how to set a custom retention period for individual snapshots, which can supersede the retention policy assigned to the container. For instance, selecting 'forever' ensures the snapshot is not purged by the retention policy.
Procedure

Log in to the Delphix Management application.

Go to Manage > Datasets.

Find and expand the dSource or VDB you wish to modify.

Select the Timeflow tab.

Expand the snapshots section for which you wish to modify the retention time (Note, it may take a moment for individual snapshots to display).

Click on the three dots to expand the sub-menu.

Select Keep for .…

In the Keep For dialog, specify the number of days, or select forever.

Click Save to apply the custom retention setting.
