New features
Support for Always Encrypted feature in SQL Server
The Continuous Data Engines now provide support for Always Encrypted. This feature is designed to protect sensitive data by encrypting it both at rest and in transit. Customers need to generate encryption keys, store them in the Windows Certificate Store or a Key Vault, and transfer or import certificates to required hosts. For more information, read Support for the SQL Always Encrypted.
Delphix self-service unavailable in new installations
As we approach the end of support for Delphix Self-Service (JetStream), we have blocked its usage in new installations to prevent continued rollout. UI, APIs, and CLIs will not work in fresh installs. Engine upgrades to versions released between now and the September end of support date will be unaffected. Please contact your Delphix Account team if your organization does not have a plan to migrate to DCT.
Repave for disaster recovery
This feature captures engine configuration and metadata snapshots every 15 minutes and stores them in a secure Delphix storage location. In a disaster recovery scenario, you can quickly repave a new engine by selecting the latest usable snapshot and avoid manual preparation steps. Do not complete first-time setup on the target engine before you run repave/apply. IBM s390x platform support
Delphix Continuous Data now supports the IBM s390x platform in partnership with PopUp Mainframe. The solution is currently supporting Linux distributions Ubuntu v22.04. This integration requires the PopUp Mainframe plugin. For more details, contact PopUp Mainframe at gary@popup-mainframe.com.
Oracle 23ai
Oracle 23ai is now supported starting with Continuous Data 2025.2.0.0. Refer to the Oracle matrix for supported configurations.

Deprecated and EOL features
Delphix Self-Service (Jet Stream) unavailable on new installations
As part of our end-of-support plans, we have restricted the Delphix Self-Service feature in fresh installations of Delphix Continuous Data 2025.2 and newer. Upgrades are unaffected. The Delphix Self-Service interface and APIs will be removed from the product in 2025.6. Contact your Delphix Account Team for guidance on migrating to Data Control Tower’s Developer Experience.
Oracle LiveSource
We had previously announced the deprecation of Oracle LiveSource in July 2024. Continuous Data 2025.2 will be the last release with support for Oracle LiveSource and will be fully removed in 2025.3.
