Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows (Db2 LUW) is a relational database server developed by IBM. Often referred to as Db2 LUW, it belongs to the broader Db2 family but stands out as the “Common Server” edition—designed to run across multiple operating systems. In contrast, other Db2 products are typically platform-specific.
