The Continuous Compliance 2025 release introduces a bi-monthly release cadence starting in January 2025 and adopts a new version naming convention. It adds support for PostgreSQL v15, IBM Db2 v13 on z/OS, and improves binary data handling in on-the-fly masking jobs, while addressing several bug fixes and performance improvements.

New features

Release cadence change

Delphix has returned to a bi-monthly release cadence for Continuous Data, Continuous Compliance, and Data Control Tower. This will begin with the January 2025 release, where the next release follows in March.

Version naming convention change

The new version naming convention follows a YYYY.R.M.P format, represented with numerical values.

  • YYYY: Year of distribution

  • R: Release number

  • M: Minor release number

  • P: Patch number

As an example, the January release is named 2025.1.0.0—distributed in 2025 (YYYY), the first (R) release of the year, a minor release number set to zero (M), and a patch number set to zero (P).

Following this pattern, the March release will be named 2025.2.0.0—distributed in 2025 (YYYY), the second (R) release of the year, a minor release number set to zero (M), and a patch number set to zero (P).

PostgreSQL

Added support for PostgreSQL v15.

IBM Db2

Added support for IBM Db2 v13 on the IBM z/OS operating system.

Improved binary data support

On-the-fly masking jobs from databases to delimited files will now convert binary data columns to Hex strings while writing to target files.
