March 2025
The Continuous Compliance 2025.2.0.0 release introduces a built-in checkdigit algorithm for Japanese IDs, enhanced error messaging for database sampling, and migration of JSON/XML file masking to Apache HOP. It also adds support for profiling and masking Parquet files and improves identity column handling in SQL Server masking jobs.
New features
Built-in checkdigit algorithm framework for Japanese identification numbers
This release introduces a built-in Checkdigit algorithm framework with default instances to enable masking of Japanese identification numbers. For more information, see Checkdigit Algorithm frameworks topic.
New execution events in file profiling (For a rule set without files)
Metadata profiling is now consistently performed on metadata of the provided file format, even if no files are present:
-
Profile set with only path classifiers – The profiler returns metadata profiling results of the file format, and the job completes with a SUCCESS status.
-
Profile set with data classifiers – The profiler returns metadata profiling results of the file format but also triggers execution events (FILE_NOT_FOUND or FILE_PATTERN_NO_MATCH), resulting in a WARN status.
Enhanced error messaging for execution events in database sampling
This release improves error messages for execution events triggered by query timeouts during database sampling.
Migration of JSON and XML file masking job processing to Apache HOP library
The JSON and XML file masking job processing has been migrated from Pentaho Kettle to Apache HOP library.
Support for parquet structure
This release adds support for profiling and masking Parquet files. It currently supports SFTP, FS Mount, S3, S3 Compatible, and Azure Blob Storage (using secret authentication) connectors. For more details, refer to the Parquet structure topic.
Identity column handling improvements (SQL Server masking)
Masking jobs on SQL Server now generate identity columns with the appropriate clustered or non-clustered index. This enhancement prevents potential deadlocks during masking.

|
Bug Number |
Description |
|---|---|
|
DLPX-91933 |
Fixed an issue where the Duplicating Environment did not preserve "Enable Tasks" which were set in the job configuration in the Original Environment. |
|
DLPX-92837 |
Fixed an issue related to the customers not able to generate custom SQLs for Salesforce Masking. |
|
DLPX-92990 |
Temporary datasets for in-place masking will now be created with the same storage attributes as the source dataset. |
| DLPX-92993 | Fixed an issue in database profiling where the profiler discarded the initial data sample if the subsequent exhaustive non-null query timed out. |
| DLPX-93031 | Fixed an issue where ROWID could not be added as a logical key from the Edit Ruleset screen. |
| DLPX-93233 | Fixed truncation of database timestamp precision when exporting to a delimited file in an OTF masking job. |
| DLPX-93286 | Fixed an issue where profiling job fails when processing an empty flat file. |
| DLPX-93399 | Fixed an issue where values in filler fields were unintentionally modified during masking when using FTP MVS. |
Release 2025.2.0.1
| Bug number | Description |
|---|---|
| DLPX-93839 | Fixed an issue where an authenticated user with sufficient privileges and knowledge of internal database configurations can exploit Application security. |
| DLPX-93856 | Addressed a Delphix engine security vulnerability when using the GCP OS Login feature. |

DLPX- 80640 |
The Masking Drop Indexes task does not detect or drop indexes on SQL Server partitioned tables (OTF and IP). |
Manually Script the Drop and Recreate Indexes. |
| DLPX-81694 | When masking two columns with the same name (but with mixed case), it can cause the same algorithm to be applied. | None |
| DLPX-93701 | On The Fly (OTF) masking job fails when using different source and target connector types (Cloud and On-premise) for JSON, XML, and Parquet files. | None |
| DLPX-94237 | Masking job fails when the parquet file has 'Decimal' and 'Timestamp' data types. | None |
| DLPX-96175 | Inconsistent values in parquet masked file for null-heavy, dictionary encoded columns. | None |
