September 2025
The Continuous Compliance 2025.5.0.0 release brings a Perforce branding refresh to the UI, improved LDAP sync at engine startup, and enhanced File Formats UI functionality. It also introduces guardrails for not-null columns in masking algorithms and secure boot support for AWS. Additionally, the release addresses various bug fixes and known issues to enhance performance and reliability.
New features
Perforce brand refresh
Upon installation or upgrade, you will see user interface updates across the Continuous Compliance application to align with the new Perforce branding including fonts, colors, buttons, and logos. Please note that all workflows, APIs, and CLIs remain the same.
LDAP configuration sync at Continuous Compliance engine startup
This release syncs LDAP settings from Setup Portal to Continuous Compliance at engine startup. When you select Configure LDAP for Continuous Compliance Engine in the Continuous Data engine UI and populate the fields, those values are automatically copied into Continuous Compliance. For details, see step 10 in Setting up the Delphix Engine (First Time Setup).
Enhanced file formats UI
The File Formats UI has been improved with new capabilities. You can now duplicate or export existing file formats, as well as specify a meaningful name when creating a new format. For more information, see Working with file formats documentation.
Algorithm guardrails for not-null columns
Masking algorithms that return null now throw a warning when assigned to SQL database columns with a not-null constraint. The Continuous Compliance engine automatically discovers column nullability. Incompatible algorithm assignments are blocked to prevent errors, but columns can be marked nullable in the API if desired.
Documentation for secure boot support for AWS
Secure boot enhances the existing Amazon EC2 secure boot process by adding an extra layer of protection against threats that can survive reboots. It ensures instances only launch software signed with trusted cryptographic keys stored in the UEFI key database.
Fixed issues
| Bug number | Description |
|---|---|
| DLPX-91242 | Fixed an issue that improved the performance of the GET syncable-objects API operation. |
| DLPX-92613 | Fixed an issue where text overflow occurred because the Custom SQL text field in rulesets did not resize correctly. |
| DLPX-94553 | Fixed an issue where masking a table with a composite primary key and an existing identity column was incorrectly handled. The logic now correctly prevents identity column creation in these scenarios. |
| DLPX-94655 | Fixed an issue where a missing directory caused errors when running Salesforce driver support tasks. |
| DLPX-94877 | Fixed an issue where chaining algorithms referencing an algorithm starting with a colon generated excessive warning messages in the application logs when connected to DCT. |
| DLPX-94899 | Fixed an issue where Salesforce Driver Support Tasks were not visible for extended CDATA Salesforce JDBC drivers. |
| DLPX-95002 | Fixed an issue where masking a database column (with or without a primary key) failed to create an index on the identity column when identity was present. |
Known issues
|
Key |
Summary |
Workaround |
|---|---|---|
| DLPX-80640 | Masking drop Indexes task does not find and remove indexes on SQL Server partitioned tables in both on-the-fly and in-place masking jobs. | Manually script the drop and recreate indexes. |
| DLPX-81694 | When masking two columns with the same name but different casing, the same algorithm may be incorrectly applied to both. | None |
| DLPX-91068 | Failed masking jobs on heap tables may leave behind a generated temporary identity column and index. | None |
| DLPX-93701 | On the fly masking job fails when using different source and target connector types (mixed Cloud and On-premise connectors) for JSON, XML, and Parquet files. | None |
| DLPX-95361 | Database masking job performance degrades when a table has an identity column without an index and includes masking of a non-clustered primary key. | None |
| DLPX-96175 | Inconsistent values in parquet masked file for null-heavy, dictionary encoded columns. | None |
